I think my best friend is crushing on me! We have been friends for awhile and I have had a crush on him as well.. Well, lately when we are hanging out with each other, I start getting this more- than- friends vibe from him and here are some signs that make me wonder:
1.while we were sitting in his car, the song kissing u came on and we both got quiet and it was a little awkward
2. We have Nicknames for each other
3. He loves to tease me
4. When we go to the movies, I find him staring at me throughout the movie
5. He copies the way I am sitting at the movies- it takes a few minutes, but he does it
6. He never used to worry how he looked when we would go somewhere, but the other night he commented on how he should of changed his shirt
7. I have met his parents and had dinner at his house after helping him with a flowerbed for awhile
8. His parents wanted to meet me
9. The dinner over there seemed like a “meet the girlfriend” thing and it seemed like his parents thought I was his girlfriend
10.he has sung to me in various languages
11.he hinted around at how he wanted to do something and couldn’t and then we ended up doing something-
12. A few days before, we took an impromptu trip to the store because he had to get food for dinner
13. He called me one day out of the blue to see if he was supposed to call me and hinted around he wanted to do something
14. Most of our talking takes place in his car and when we are alone together
15. There have been times I have caught him staring
16. When we are in a group situation, his friends may say hi to him, but they don’t really stick around
17. His friends know me but don’t really say anything- well, a few of them do
18. If the subject comes up, of us being a couple, he can get defensive and not really say anything
and the list goes on and on…
So, I think there is something there and that’ it’s been building for awhile- it is the one topic we don’t talk about!!!
